Mini synopsis

This hero was falsely accused and sent to prison by the Glymera. Jack has been there for over 100 years while some of his friend have been there longer than 2 centuries.

Nyx comes in after her sister who's bern there almost 50 years and she's desperate to find her. She meets Jack as soon as she gets in the door.

My Review

Holy crap this was so good!! Thank you Warden for going no holds barred on these new characters! (I could have done without the slight gore but it was fitting)

So many twists I didn't see coming. So many swoon-worthy moments! I can't wait for more of these characters!! The prison needs to be found!!! I need Apex and Lucan's story!!! Mayhem... he seems a bit (a lot) familiar!! Tell me who he reminds YOU of, please!

Although the herione Nyx does a couple TSTL things, the chemistry between her and Jack was definitely there. I felt her frustration with Jack at a few points in the book. Jack, though I LOVED him!! I'm glad he stood up gor himself when he could but also I wished he would've confided in Nyx. But damn for only knowing each other gor 3 days! It was Hot!

I'm going share some of my favorite quotes, warning they might be a bit spoilery.

When explaining to Nyx how he came to be in prison:

"There was no objective court for me to go to, no impartial body weighing the truth and the falsehoods."

I swear this made me so angry at both Wrath and Rhage!!!! You'll know why when you read it.

So many swoon-worthy words from Jack!

"This was his choice, and all the more sweeter, freer, better for that. He was choosing her. He was choosing this."

"If I could, I would bleed out in your arms. I can't think of anywhere else I'd rather be when I die."

Have you read this yet? Are you a Black Dagger Brotherhood fan? They show up at the end and we get some more insight into Darius that made me tear up!

This gave me a book hangover in such a good way! I'm ready for more!
